Gameplay starts once the Province reaches Step 2, and your safety will continue to be the top priority at Canlan Sports.

PRE-REGISTER FOR YHL BALL HOCKEY
Here’s what you need to know about pre-registering for the upcoming session.
SEASON DETAILS 
Target Start Date: July 3rd*
Target End Date: July 30th*
Games: 4-game guarantee
◾ Select your available days to play during pre-registration!
Age Groups:
◾ U18 (2004, 2005, 2006)
◾ U17 (2005, 2006)
◾ U15 (2007, 2008)
◾ U13 (2009, 2010)
◾ U11 (2011, 2012)
◾ U9 (2013, 2014)
◾ U7 (2015, 2016)
Skill Levels:
◾ Recreational
◾ Intermediate
◾ Competitive
STRUCTURE 
Format: 5-on-5
Game Length: 55 minutes
Periods: 15-15-15 run-time
Game Rosters: Teams will be permitted to carry a maximum of 12 participants at each game and one coach.
Required Equipment:
◾ CSA certified helmet + facemask
◾ Hockey Gloves + Jock/Jill
◾ Protective shin pads (soccer-style shin pads accepted)
Referees: One per game
Rules: Most CBHA Rules in effect (here)
If a game has a two-goal spread or less, the final two minutes of the 3rd period will be converted to stop-time.
TEAM FEES 
Teams: $400.00 incl. HST
Individuals: $40.00 incl. HST
Payment will not be required with the pre-registration.
Once the season start date has been confirmed, teams + individuals will have their registrations confirmed and payments will be required prior to the first game.

*TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Season start date is contingent on the Province of Ontario reaching Step 2 of its re-opening plan, which is anticipated to be July 2nd or earlier, but is subject to change. Season start dates, end dates, game counts, and playing format, are subject to change based at the behest of the Ontario Provincial Government, and any of its health agencies with the authority to issue public health orders, guidelines, and/or restrictions. In the event that programming is not able to take place or is interrupted for either season, teams that register with a deposit will receive a credit of equal value that can be used towards any future Canlan programming or surface rental.

Canlan Ice Sports – Scarborough is a four-pad facility conveniently located in close proximity to Highway 401, 404, and 407. Situated in the hub of Scarborough, the location plays host to the Canlan Youth Hockey League, and more than 550 ASHL teams over the course of a calendar year. Featuring an on-site Wild Wing restaurant and a Canlan Sports Shop, the building is equipped with everything you need for a premier hockey experience.
