ADDITIONAL LEAGUE INFORMATION
- All teams will require a minimum of 1 volunteer coach on the bench for every game
- All volunteer coaches must provide a Police Records Check for the Vulnerable Sector check by April 1st, 2019
- All players must be paid in full prior to the first game of the season
- All divisions will change “on the fly”
- 2 referees per game for Atom and up
- Team entries can carry a 11 player roster (including a goalie) but only 9 skaters and 1 goalie can dress for the game
- Jersey & Ball cap included for all players!
- IMPORTANT: Volunteer Bench Staff & 1 Head Coach are required for us to create teams of individual players. Please contact our League Manager at 905-725-6951 if you are able to volunteer your time. All volunteer coaches must provide a Vulnerable Sector Police Check prior to the first game.
- Team Entries: To enter a team, please contact Lauren at lmackenzie@icesports.com . All season information will be given to the head coach of team entries prior to the season, and coaches will be responsible to pass along information to their teams.
- Individual Registration Information: To request playing with a friend, please email lmackenzie@icesports.com with your request(s) once you have completed your online registration. Team information including game time for the first week will be emailed to parents a week prior to the start of the season as we receive many late registrations.
- Schedules: We will do our best to balance teams according to skill levels, and as such, we will only release the first few weeks of the schedule to start. We will then evaluate players and re-balance teams (if possible) and post a schedule for the remaining weeks of the season. Start times will fluctuate week to week for all divisions.
- First Game Sign-In: All parents/guardians of registered players are asked to hand in their player waiver and player/parent code of conduct on the first night of play to receive their 3on3 helmet sticker. These stickers are proof that players are registered in our league. Referees and league staff reserve the right to remove any player from the ice surface that does not have a valid helmet sticker. A game may be forfeited if any team is found using players/goalies who are not registered in the league and coaches will be subject to further disciplinary action. Please play fair!
- Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for withdrawals at any time. If a participant is unable to participate in the league due to medical reasons, he or she will receive a credit (with medical note) towards their next Canlan Ice Sports program, camp or league registration. In the event that a player is unable to attend a game, Canlan Ice Sports regrets that make-up games will not be offered. Canlan Ice Sports also reserves the right to change the dates/game times. In the event of a schedule change, every effort will be made to contact players with as much notice as possible.
