YHL Update on COVID-19 Spread

On Friday March 13th, Canlan Ice Sports made a voluntary decision to temporarily close all locations to do our part in protecting our communities in the wake of the COVID-19 spread.

As of March 19th, we’re able to provide our YHL parents, guardians, and participants with the following updates:

▪ Spring + Summer 2020 Season: Canlan Ice Sports will continue to assess this rapidly changing situation as we evaluate potential dates to re-open locations, once it’s been deemed as being safe enough to do so. As this information becomes clearer, we’ll provide participants with additional information on the expected season start date at each location.

▪ Additional Season Details: Every effort will be made to maintain the YHL season length that was originally offered at each location. If your YHL location winds up having a reduction in games after re-opening, there will be a corresponding credit issued to you based off your team or individual player fees that have already been paid, if applicable. Additional details will be released in advance of the season.

▪ Romeoville Winter YHL: At the time of the announced closure on March 13th, games remained in-session for the Romeoville Winter YHL Season. At the point at which locations re-open to participants and patrons, every effort will be made to resume the Winter season, with all postponed games being re-scheduled, accordingly.

We’d like to thank all of our YHL participants for their continued patience during this challenging time, and encourage players to monitor www.canlanyhl.com for additional updates.
