YHL Update: March 19th

Winter is in the rear-view mirror and Spring is around the corner. Doesn’t that feel nice to say?
With that in mind, let’s talk about how the YHL Spring ’21 season is shaping up in each of our respective regions:

  • Illinois: The YHL Spring ’21 season is officially underway in Romeoville! If you’re reading this and you’re still looking to register your child, some divisions still have limited space available for late registrations. Click here for season details and registration.
  • British Columbia: We’ve made the decision to adjust our targeted start date to April 24th as we remain optimistic that the Provincial Government is committed to a phased re-opening of youth sport gameplay in April, though that means that our initial start date at the beginning of April is no longer viable. We continue to work closely with viaSport and the Province’s health agencies to ensure that, when permitted, we’re ready to safely bring gameplay back at our three locations in the Lower Mainland.
  • Winnipeg: This week the Province of Manitoba has been considering the possibility of moving into Code Orange, which would have the potential to permit sports gameplay, including the YHL. Additional information is expected to be forthcoming from the Province during the week of March 22nd, at which point we’ll provide an update to registered participants regarding our targeted start date. Season details and registration are available by clicking here.

Registered participants in Ontario (March 22nd) and Saskatoon (March 23rd) will be receiving subsequent e-mail updates. Space is extremely limited at these locations, so we encourage you to act now if you haven’t already secured your spot!
