Ontario Implements Provincewide Emergency Brake

📅 April 1st, 2021

TORONTO, ONT. —Today, the Ontario Provincial Government has announced a province-wide emergency brake effective at 12:01am on Saturday, April 3, 2021 for a minimum of four (4) weeks. Under the Province’s new restrictions, each of Canlan’s six locations in the Greater Toronto Area will be required to close.

Stay tuned, we appreciate your support.

We’ll be back, just at a later date. Next week, we will provide additional information to all registered participants regarding our new target start dates for the Spring ’21 season, and any adjustments that need to be made to either our Spring ’21 or Summer ’21 seasons at Etobicoke, Oakville, Oshawa, Scarborough, and York.

Registration will remain open, and with more than 400 teams registered thus far, space is limited. To provide the most flexibility in the current circumstances, you have the option of registering with, or without a payment.

As a valued member of our sports community, we want to thank you for your patience in what’s been a very difficult year. When we’re able to hit the ice, it’ll only be that much sweeter.
